Classes

Adult Kodokan Judo

Judo, translated from Japanese means ‘the way of gentleness.’ In the adult class we are teaching the techniques, history and philosophies of Kodokan Judo. Judo techniques are largely grappling based. Including but not limited to throws, holds and pins, joint locks and chokes. We make teaching Kodokan Judo our primary focus. As our program offerings expand we will continue to provide the best possible instruction in Kodokan Judo.

Youth Judo, Katsumushi Kids

Youth classes learn the same techniques with some adjustments placed on their curriculum and learning for safety.

When do we meet?

We meet on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Fridays are advanced practice days focused on competitive Judo. A valid USA Judo or USJF membership is required to participate. For any questions see one of the coaches.

Semi-Private Lessons

You can request a semi-private lesson with one of the instructors. A semi-private lesson is a private lesson in which you bring a training partner to learn alongside you. You and a partner will learn together from a member of the instruction staff as scheduled. Your partner will act as your uke during the session. If you are unable to bring a training partner we can provide one for you at an additional cost.
